Testimonials Dr. Meg Sleeper

Dr. Meg Sleeper is a veterinary cardiologist at the University of Pennsylvania who started using ProMotion-EQ® in 2006. She says:

"I was particularly interested in trying it because I am an endurance rider and I currently compete with 4 horses...all of whom had been taking Cosequin. I switched them all to ProMotion-EQ® and I love the results with your product."

Congratulations to Dr. Sleeper for being chosen to compete on the US Team at the world championships in Malaysia in 2008! Dr. Sleeper's horse Reveille was selected for the competition with Troy as an alternate. Troy turned 16 this year.

In 2007, Dr. Sleeper and Troy finished as the 1st US Rider/Horse team in the FEI world endurance ranking and 10th worldwide.

The latest comparison of equine joint nutraceuticals in Horse Journal (October 2007) ranked ProMotion-EQ® as one of the top contenders. On a scale of 1 to 3 with "3" being the best score, ProMotion-EQ® scored a "3" for both speed of action and inflammation and a "1 to 2+" for pain, obviously varying depending on the case. Specific comments include:

"Highly palatable alfalfa and wheat mids base. ...Rapidly effective for both young and old horses with active inflammation and soft tissue swelling. Helpful in young horses with knee or stifle pain. ...This may be the best product choice if you're seeking to eliminate inflammation as well."
"If you prefer a non-chemical approach for rapid inflammation control, consider ProMotion-EQ. ...it was very effective in our trial horses."

"I have been giving ProMotion-EQ® to my 17-year-old TB gelding for the past 5 weeks and I am impressed with the product. He has been diagnosed with DSLD (Degenerative Suspensory Ligament Desmitis) and, in spite of our careful management, continued to get worse. When I found out about your product, he was suffering a painful flair up, and ultrasound showed many new lesions. We decided that pasture retirement was best and thought that, at the rate of his degeneration, he had perhaps another year left before we would have to put him down. Lately, his fetlock joints and suspensory ligaments are cool and clean. He has not been on any anti-inflammatory or pain medication for several weeks. He plays so hard out in the pasture, the barn manager and I watch him, flinching with gritted teeth. He gallops, rears and lunges with the rest of his buddies. The barn manager tells me that I have to, somehow, start paying more attention to his exercise needs because he has so much energy. Yesterday, I brought him in and threw my saddle on him and we worked at a big, loose, energetic walk for 1/2 hour. He's a happy horse."

Thank you again,
Diane & The General
